10:25
するとそこへ、ある律法学者が現れ、
イエスを試みようとして言った、
「先生、何をしたら永遠の生命 が受けられましょうか」。

And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

彼に言われた、「律法にはなんと書いてあるか。
あなたはどう読むか」。
10:26
He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
10:27
彼は答えて言った、「『心をつくし、精神をつくし、
力をつくし、思いをつくして、
主なる あなたの神を愛せよ』。
また、 『自分を愛するように、
あなたの隣り人を愛せよ』とあります」。
10:27
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

彼に言われた、「あなたの答は正しい。
そのとおり行いなさい。そうすれば、いのちが得られる」。
10:28
And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

すると彼は自分の立場を弁護しようと思って、
イエスに言った、
「では、わたしの隣り人とはだれのことですか」。
10:29
But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
10:30
イエスが答えて言われた、
「ある人がエルサレムからエリコに下って行く途中、
強盗どもが彼を襲い、その着物をはぎ取り、
傷を負わせ、半殺しにしたまま、
逃げ去った。
10:30
And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

するとたまたま、ひとりの祭司がその道を下ってきたが、
この人を見ると、向こう側を通って行った。
10:31
And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

同様に、
レビ人もこの場所にさしかかってきたが、
彼を見ると向こう側を通って行った。

And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

ところが、
あるサマリヤ人が旅をしてこの人のところを通りかかり、
彼を見て気の毒に思い、
10:33
But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

近寄ってきてその傷に
オリブ油とぶどう酒とを注いでほうたいをしてやり、
自分の家畜に乗せ、宿屋に連れて行って介抱した。
10:34
And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
10:35
翌日、デナリ二つを取り出して宿屋の主人に手渡し、
『この人を見てやってください。
費用がよけいにかかったら、
帰りがけに、わたしが支払います』と言った。
10:35
And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

この三人のうち、だれが強盗に襲われた人の隣り人になったと思うか」。
10:36
Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
10:37
彼が言った、「その人に慈悲深い行いをした人です」。
そこでイエスは言われた、
「あなたも行って同じようにしなさい」。
10:37
And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

要するに
『利他心』 を 育み 『利己心』 を 捨て去ること
そこに 自ずと 生命力 の 土台を
置くことが でき 新しい 自分作りが 行える
心の器を 磨き 育てる
強い 信念を 持って
そう 在りたいと 願っています
